NexaBid is desktop estimating software. This policy covers the nexabid.ca website and the NexaBid application.

The short version

Your estimates, takeoffs, drawings and price lists are stored on your own computer. We do not receive, host, or have access to them.
The app works offline. It does not send your project data anywhere.
We collect your name and email only when you contact us, request a pilot, or buy a license.

What we collect

Website: if you submit the pilot request form, we receive the name, company, email and message you enter. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. License keys are tied to the licensee name you provide at purchase.

What the app stores locally

Estimates, takeoffs, PDF drawings, imported price lists and proposal drafts live in a local database on the machine where NexaBid is installed. Backups you create stay on your machine unless you choose to store them elsewhere.

Email

We send transactional email (license delivery, download links, receipts come from Stripe). We do not send marketing email without your consent, and every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe.
